1. Guaranteed temperature control of food during shipment

Maintaining cool chain for at least 24 hours
Hydropac recommends that when using its products:
1. Boxes are packed properly, with the produce insulated from the Ice Sheet, then the cooling energy at under the eight degree threshold will be maintained throughout the shipping time
2. Produce is kept at the lowest temperature prior to shipping, if possible one or two centigrade or as cold as possible without actually freezing it enables and extended shipping time with a lower number of Ice Sheets.

Hydropac keeps up to date on ever changing legislation, which helps to ensure that its customers are meeting all the food shipment standards they need to achieve – this takes the worry out of the equation, giving customers more time to concentrate on running their businesses. Currently, Hydropac is liaising with the Food Standards Agency on a new Good Practice Guide for mail order companies selling perishable food.

Hydropac listens to its customers and recommends the ideal Temperature Controlled Packaging System to deliver produce in perfect condition.
1. Utilising a specially designed software package, Hydropac can calculate the exact number of Ice Sheets or Mats required.
2. The unique design of the Foam Inserts within the sturdy outer boxes minimises any risk to the produce in transit.
3. The Ice Sheets are manufactured using a “seal through water” technology that has been rigorously tested to ensure no risk of leaks.

Hydropac can print your company’s full details, including logo on both the Sheet/Mat/Bag and Box and will provide a full breakdown of costs within the quotation.

Customers can utilise courier services for national or international markets and in many cases first class post will be adequate.
Hydropac’s Luxury Cuisine Food Shippers, when correctly packaged and used with Hydropac’s Ice Sheets will guarantee at least 24 hour cooling performance. Hydropac has a number of products and cooling system combinations to further the cooling period up to 48 hours where required.

To meet the EC Directive on Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC
In line with the EC Directive on Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC Hydropac continually works to help the environment and offers post-it back recycling bags for the return of Hydropac products to our customers for reuse up to 4 times.
Those customers that encourage end-users to recycle their foam liners can save up to 29% of the costs – it means, of course, less business in the long term for Hydropac, but as part of its commitment to the environment, this is more than countered with improving relations with customers and creating relationships of value.

Reduced Labour Costs
Hydropac’s Luxury Cuisine Shippers (Insulated Boxes) are very easy to assemble from a flat packed delivery.
In addition Hydropac’s Ice Sheets do not need to be dunked, soaked or drained to activate before freezing, saving your staff valuable time. This time saving is further evidenced by Hydropac’s non-stick immediate use ability.

Reduced Space Costs
Hydropac has one of the lowest minimum order quantities per item meaning that the customer needs to stock fewer units.
The Insulated Boxes pack flat minimising the storage space required.
The customer’s end-user can return the Foam Liner for recycling up to 4 times, again reducing the number of units stocked.
