Perishable mail order food regulations are coming – Hydropac is ready; are you?

It will provide guidance on compliance with the new Hygiene and Temperature Regulations applicable from 1st January 2006…” says Mike Collins, Hydropac’s Managing Director.

Hydropac, the UK’s largest manufacturer of ready hydrated Ice Sheets for mail order food shipment has just released a new range of mail order and carry home insulated boxes and bags. The new “Luxury Cuisine Shippers” are manufactured from environmentally friendly high-density, closed cell, white polyethylene foam. Unlike other manufacturers products the Luxury Cuisine range feature mitred corners to prevent hot spots and increase cool chain shipping times; this combines with its low pricing structure, make Hydropac a popular choice with the discerning user.

In addition, Hydropac has spent over 18 months developing complex software to enable the accurate calculation of how many Ice Sheets customers need to add to their produce when shipped in Hydropac’s Luxury Cuisine Shippers. Hydropac’s software allows the user to print a shipping certificate showing that their produce has been packed correctly and will remain below a chosen temperature (generally 8 Centigrade) for a given time and environment.
